After over 38 years of color and space consulting (e.g., Nationally, Internationally, Commercially, and Residential) the most difficult part of this job has always been the fee schedule.

This is true especially for residential because every homeowner or future buyer/seller has such different requirements.  We always try very hard to take into consideration the client’s requirements and what we know the actual time and effort will be.  Based upon this constant analysis, we have derived the following basic schedules for Sally’s work. Of course change is inevitable, and each client’s needs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  When there are extenuating circumstances and we find better ways to approach the situation she will be the first to offer different paradigms.  Of course if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sally at the “Contact Sally” part of this site.  Based upon Sally’s extensive experience, most clients are seeking the following consultation services:

Buy/Sell Consultations

Sally is often approached by homeowners and future buyers alike to review a property and offer suggestions on colors, space, site, and light.  For the seller, what will make the home more salable?  Just as often, she is asked to assist a buyer with decisions and options for the future.  Is this the right house for the buyer? Both situations require a lot of experience and knowledge for assistance.

Staging or Sale Prep. Consultations

Sally has many years of experience helping realtors and homeowners prepare a house for that first impression with future buyers.  Sally is happy to assist in the considerations necessary to deal with her areas of expertise and refine the home. For homes within 10 miles, Sally’s initial fee is $340.00.  This typically involves 2 hours with video and final report. Should the homeowner require more assistance, the residential rate usually applies past the initial consultation.

Consulting on Home Selection and Purchase

Sally frequently travels around the country for clients who require her broad experience in the purchase of a home or site.  Often she is asked to use all of her expertise in consideration of the property, including her 38 years of practice and writings in “Feng Shui”.  Residential fees apply plus expenses.

Consulting with Homeowner’s Associations and Condominium Committees

This is always a big job.  Many homeowners associations set up special committees to deal with painting and color choices.  Years of experience all up and down the east and west coasts has taught me one thing.  “Patience, Patience, and more Patience”.  Over the years I have found that listening to the committees and then taking them outside to actually look at my color canvases both up front and sometimes up on the roof (looking up) will make all of the difference.  We will often paint large canvases with “Coastal Colors” so that the committee can actually see the paints before they go on the walls and doors.  This can often take several trials until we choose just the right paint colors.

Decor and Accessories for the Home or Establishment

I am often asked to pick mirrors, prints, furniture, flooring, tile, countertops, cabinet colors, paints, lamps and paintings for both residential and commercial establishments.  Many people go shopping with me to find what they like and ask for opinions on items.  Sometimes, I will shop for clients and FaceTime them the actual items or I can send the clients pictures on the web from many of my sources and either SKYPE or FaceTime them as we talk.   All of the options are open when purchase a selection and of course, the receipts are given to the owner with “NO UP-CHARGES”!  My time and travel are the only costs.

“Skype” or “FaceTime”: $120.00 per hour with no minimums

Product Costs:  Sally does not up charge for products nor does she purchase products for clients. However, she will help you find those products through her resources and assist with price reductions for products where possible.  Paints may be purchased though her and in some instances those paints may require delivery charges.
